Anthony D’s Auto Repair
On October 28, 2006, 38 year old Cpl/2 Antonio Di Alessandro #855 of the Delaware State Police, died after a 2 year battle with lung disease. Cpl/2 Di Alessandro was honored with a full military funeral on November 2, 2006.
Cpl/2 Di Alessandro joined the Delaware State Police in 1993. After completing his FTO training, he was assigned to Troop #3 where he worked as a uniformed trooper, canine officer, and member of the Govenor’s Task Force. He was Trooper of the Year and was the recipient of four departmental awards, including the 2005 Lifesaving Award, the 2005 Sons of the American Revolution Law Enforcement Award, 2002 Exceptional Performance Award, and the 2001 Valor Award. In addition to being a 13-year veteran of the Delaware State Police, he was an 18-year veteran of the Delaware National Guard.
